Care Conversations is a site that will introduce you to the current research of Dr. Janine Brown and team members.

Project CARE: More Canadians are getting older, and many are thinking about how they want to be cared for at the end of life. Rising living costs, pressures on the healthcare system, health impacts of extreme weather, and the legalization of medical assistance in dying may all influence these decisions. This project will explore the impact of social and political issues on older Canadians’ end-of-life planning. We will talk with older adults, and people who make policies to understand their experiences and challenges. What we learn will help improve support, information, and care for Canadians as they age and plan for the end of life.
